Data Deletion Instructions

You are in control of your data. This page explains how to delete your GoPostAuto account and all associated data, and how to revoke a connected social account. If you connected GoPostAuto to Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn and want your data removed, follow the steps below.
Delete your account and all data (in the app)
- Sign in to GoPostAuto and go to Settings → Profile.
- Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom of the page.
- Click Delete my account.
- Read the warning (including any workspaces that will be deleted), type DELETE to confirm, and confirm the action.
This permanently deletes your account and cannot be undone. If you are the sole owner of a workspace, that workspace and all of its content will be deleted for everyone in it. If the workspace has other owners, it is preserved for them and only your access and personal data are removed. You may transfer ownership before deleting if you want to keep a workspace alive.
Revoke a connected social account
To disconnect a Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn account without deleting your whole account:
- Go to Settings → Connections.
- Find the account you want to remove and click Disconnect.
Disconnecting a social account immediately deletes the stored OAuth access and refresh tokens for that account from our systems. After disconnecting, GoPostAuto can no longer publish to or read metrics from that account.
You may also remove GoPostAuto's access from the platform side at any time via your Facebook/Instagram "Business Integrations" settings or your LinkedIn "Permitted Services" settings.
What gets deleted and when
- Immediately on disconnect: the stored access and refresh tokens for that social account.
- On account deletion: your profile, your workspace memberships, any workspaces you solely own (including their posts, media, schedules, connected accounts, tokens, metrics, and logs), your notifications, and your authentication record.
- Timeline: deletion is processed immediately when you confirm. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days on our standard backup rotation.
Request deletion manually
If you cannot access your account or prefer us to handle it, email privacy@gopostauto.com from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete your data. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
